Well and Septic Country
What Plumbers in Bergheim Work On
Plumbers in Bergheim work on well and septic plumbing, because Bergheim is not an incorporated city and has no city water or sewer. A house here usually pumps from its own well and drains to its own septic system, and hard Hill Country well water leaves scale in heaters like the one in this picture. Bergheim Plumbing's shop is 1.7 miles east on Highway 46, the closest town on our map.
That short drive changes how a call goes. Tell us the road, whether the house has a softener and where the well shutoff is, and we bring the right parts. A pressure tank that will not hold is a two-minute drive for us, not an hour.

Around the Store
Bergheim, Store to Subdivisions
Andreas Engel moved his store in 1900 to the crossing of the Boerne-New Braunfels road and the Blanco-San Antonio road, and the Bergheim cotton gin started that September. The store was rebuilt in 1903 from limestone quarried nearby and still stands at 843 State Highway 46 East.
Every road around the Bergheim crossroads gets the same deal: no charge to come out, and a price before any work. The miles on these cards run from the store, which is itself 1.7 miles from our shop, and Guadalupe River State Park is a short drive down Highway 46 as well. Tell us your road when you call, and we will give you an honest time.
