## What Plumbers in Spring Branch Ask First

> Plumbers in Spring Branch ask where your water comes from, because out here there are two answers. Some houses pump from a private well, and the Comal Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, headquartered on FM 311 in Spring Branch, regulates every Trinity aquifer well in Comal County. Others are on Texas Water Company, which draws more than half its supply from Canyon Reservoir. Our shop sits in the middle of it.

> What leaves the house matters too. Around Spring Branch, a home off a city sewer drains to a septic system permitted by Comal County, so a slow drain can be the house or the septic. We tell you which before anyone digs. Know where your main shutoff is, like the valve in this picture.

## Spring Branch Plumbing FAQ

**Is My Spring Branch House on a Well or Water Company Water?**
It can be either: a private well or Texas Water Company's Spring Branch system. If you get no water bill, the house is on a well.

**Who Regulates Wells in Spring Branch?**
The Comal Trinity Groundwater Conservation District, on FM 311 in Spring Branch. We handle the plumbing inside the house.

**Do I Need a Softener on Spring Branch Well Water?**
Often, yes. Hard well water scales a water heater. We test first and recommend a water softener only if it needs one.

**Can You Help When a Spring Branch Septic Drain Backs Up?**
Yes, with the plumbing in the house. If the septic system itself is the trouble, we tell you so.

**Do You Cover the Canyon Lake Side of Spring Branch?**
Yes. Rebecca Creek and Mystic Shores are 26 to 35 minutes out, and you get an honest time.

**What Does a Visit Cost in Spring Branch?**
Nothing. There is no charge to come out, and you pay only for work you approve.
