Family owned, Texas Master Plumber License M-36766, and you get the price before any work. ## About Bergheim Plumbing Family owned in Spring Branch since 1998. I started it, my son Colton works the trucks with me, and I still answer the phone. In His Own Words ## Why I Started This Company > I started Bergheim Plumbing in 1998. We are in the Hill Country, right between San Antonio, New Braunfels, Boerne and Kerrville. I got into it because I felt like people were not being treated fairly, and I felt like I could be an asset to helping people out. > My family has been here for 230 years. We live on a ranch, my ancestors came from Germany, and we are rooted here. My son Colton works the trucks with me, and if you read the reviews on this page, his name comes up more than mine. > I hate nickel and diming. We do not charge a service call, and if we are there doing the work, let’s just be upfront about everything and say, okay, this is what it is going to cost. > If we did a job at your place five years ago and it is acting up, call. We will come look at it. Fifteen minutes on a repair at no charge is worth more to me than charging somebody. > David Engel Owner, Bergheim Plumbing > Lettered on the Hood ## What the License and the Insurance Mean for You > Is Bergheim Plumbing licensed and insured? Yes. David Engel holds Texas master plumber license M-36766, and the company is insured on every job it takes across the Texas Hill Country, from Kerrville to New Braunfels and North San Antonio. > A Texas master plumber license means the state tested me, and it stays good only while I keep it current. The number is M-36766, and it is lettered on the hood of the truck, so you can check it against the one that pulls up. > A master license is the highest plumbing license the State of Texas issues, and it is held by a person, not a company. The state board that issues it keeps a public list, so anyone can look a number up before a truck is in the driveway. That is the point of painting mine on the hood. > Insurance means a mistake on your property is covered by ours, not yours. You are not left holding the bill for something we did. > Both are written here as plain text on purpose, so you can look them up and so Google can read them. The same license and the same insurance cover every job we take: a faucet swap in Boerne, a water heater in New Braunfels, a slab leak in Bulverde or a softener in Kerrville. > And there is no charge to come out. You pay for work you approve, and you hear the price before the work starts, not after. > A license is also what lets a plumber pull a permit. In San Antonio, new faucets, sinks and toilets take a permit, and only a licensed plumber can pull it. When a job needs one, we pull it and the work gets inspected. - Texas Master Plumber License M-36766, lettered on the hood of the truck. - Family-Owned Since 1998 Started by David Engel. Call or Send It One number and one form. David reads both himself, so nothing gets lost. 2. We Call You Back You hear from a person within an hour or two, never an auto reply. 3. We Look for Free Coming out and looking costs you nothing. You pay for work you approve. 4. Price Up Front You hear the whole price first. You approve it, then the work gets done. 5. We Come Back A job we did years ago that acts up gets a look. Fifteen minutes is on us. > Read Off Our Google Listing ## What Your Neighbors Already Said > The team and service are exceptional! Prices were up front and very reasonable. We will be using them going forward for all our needs. Other plumbers we have tried in the area were either no-shows or tried to sell us things we didn't need. This company is reputable and trustworthy. > Competent, honest, and friendly. What more can you ask for? Bergheim Plbing has done several jobs for me, and everything has been done perfectly and reasonably. I would recommend them to anyone. > Had a great experience yesterday with Colton and John. They fixed a leak in our water softener, and then volunteered to drain my water heater for me as I was asking questions about how to do that! Professional and very customer-oriented. Highly recommend! > They were lifesavers today! I accidentally dropped a flashlight down the drain pipe for my washer while trying to clean it out. They came quickly, got the flashlight out and cleaned the drain. So appreciate them and would highly recommend them!!! > Honest advice, on time, reliable! I highly recommend Colton and his team! > They did an excellent job. Fifty Miles in Every Direction ## Where We Work Out of Spring Branch, about fifty miles in every direction. Pick your town.
